Oat Challah

I hadn't looked carefully at the online picture and was disappointed that these challah weren't braided (and I understand that this may be impossible with these ingredients). The bread is crumbly but very tasty and was even better toasted. Overall, I'm satisfied and thank you for being here for the gluten free!

Tasty... but small

The bread is very tasty. It crumbles a bit but it's very soft and a little sweet. The loaf is very small though, about the size of my water bottle. Don't expect to host a big shabbat dinner with a couple of these--get a regular loaf for the non-gf people. Sadly I didn't have enough left for french toast on Sunday!

Yummy oat bread...Is it Challah?

I really like this oat bread but to call it Challah is a stretch. I will definitely buy this again and have it for sliced bread for toast, grilled cheese, pp and j, anything! It makes a smaller sandwich but you can always have 2. I wish that Kats made real oat Challah. I was looking for oat gluten free Challah to server at Shabbat. Challah should be sweet, braided, and a little egg-y. Please please please make oat Challah!!!!
