First, I love the Katz products. The smell and the taste doesn't make you think of gluten-free at all.
In the last 6 months or so the white bread in particular tears apart when you try and take it out of the bag the tops comes off as if it's too dry. There have been many loaves where I ended up tossing half the loaf because you couldn't make a sandwich or toast from it.
The tops of the slices just tear away and it doesn't matter how gentle you are with it.
It's very disappointing because I thought finally I had found a great bread and to have the tops of the slices just come apart is frustrating.
The same thing has happened with a few loaves of the Challah bread as well.
The loaves also seem much smaller than they were.
I'm not sure if I will continue to purchase the bread and again disappointing because I love the bread.

I am new to the Katz brand of GF white bread. I love it! It is one of the best I have ever tried in the 24 years I have been gluten free. A lot of other brands are discontinuing the white bread variety. I am not able to eat seeds & a lot of the other grains they are adding to gluten free bread so I have to stick with the white variety with fewer ingredients. Please don't change a thing and continue making it because it is the closest to normal bread I have found.

When I first started ordering the white bread it was light and not gummy like others I have tried. But the last 2 orders have been gummy like they weren't cooked long enough. The size of the slices seem like they have shrunk a little also. Sure wish they would go back to the original way.

I was very happy to try your white bread and it is pretty good. I only wish it were packaged more like the Texas toast because before I could finish the loaf it started to mold.
Overall, I love your gluten free products and I am so happy that I found your company.
