I was on Reddit one day and was talking about how I don't even like Twinkies now but I would DIE for one lol. It's so weird not being able to have certain things when you go GF, it makes you want stuff you never really ate before anyway.

But, this girl was talking about Katz and how these vanilla cream cakes were an identical match. I thought well, I definitely have to try them!

These were one of my favorite things I bought (oatmeal cream pies were VERY good as was the glazed donuts!!!) and DARE I SAY IT; I think these are BETTER than twinkies. These have an almost homemade taste to them, like someone really went out of their way to put their love into these.

- The texture is that spongey-cake you would expect out of a cream cake or a twinkie.

- The flavor was SO good and so vanilla-y! None of that fake crap.

- The outside of the cake was sweet, it almost tasted like they dipped it in powdered sugar but there was no powdered sugar on the outside of the cake.

- There is a good helping of the cream inside the cakes and the cream is the perfect texture.

Are they sweet? YES but I mean you aren't (or shouldn't!) be eating like 1 of these a day lol. These are a great option for a treat once in a while. I would definitely get these again.

Very good. I'm glad I found these because I have been missing my snack cakes
