I was a bit disappointed with the Texas Toast. The flavor was less bland than I expected
I didn't try the previous version of these that most of the reviews talk about, but I really like it! I'm impressed that after baking the crust is nice and toasty but the middle of the bread is deliciously "buttery". It doesn't have huge garlic flavor but I don't mind that. I think the flavor it has is tasty and I would buy again. My only complaint is there's only 4 pieces to a box and I wish there was more. I suspect this has to do with how many pieces they can fit that won't be destroyed in transportation. GF break is notoriously fragile but beside that, I love it!
GF garlic bread that is quick and easy?!! Sign me up!!! Then to have it on Texas toast (something my daughter has never had before due to her allergy) was mind blowing!!
This texas toast was amazing in 2022 with the blue box. I noticed there is a change in the color and taste with the new packaged products. Would love to see the old recipes made again. Still some of the best texas toast on the market though.
I loved the texas toast in the dark blue packaging - the texture, the taste - it was all fantastic. Recently, the new packaging hit my store, and I was so sad to find that the product is no longer the same. The bread texture is very bad and the seasoning tastes like a cheaper product - no longer the deep garlic flavor that used to be there. PLEASE bring back the old bread and seasoning!
