Good flavor but too subtle and too dry

Something about these just doesn't quite work. The other flavors are amazing, but these are just lacking in flavor and are somewhat dry and crumbly. I am bummed I bought six boxes. The apple cider are much more flavorful and more moist.

These donuts are delicious! They are also sold at a nearby store and when I purchase them there, the cashiers tell me that they get these donuts as well because they are so good and they can have gluten products!
