Elevate your meatball game with this delicious recipe for Gluten Free Meatballs! Packed with a punch of flavor, these gluten-free delights are a perfect blend of juicy ground beef and Katz Gluten Free Plain Breadcrumbs that will leave your taste buds craving more. Whether you're hosting a dinner party or indulging in a cozy homemade meal, these meatballs are a guaranteed crowd-pleaser.

Ingredients:

  • 2 lb. of ground beef 
  • 1/2 cup of Katz Gluten Free Plain Breadcrumbs
  • 1/2 cup Beef or chicken broth
  • Unflavored gelatin powder
  • Non-stick cooking spray
  • Spice blend (If desired):
    • Salt, pepper, parsley, onion powder, garlic powder and Italian seasoning.

Getting Started:

  • Begin by preheating your oven to 400°F (205°C) to ensure it's ready for baking when the meatballs is prepared.
  • Prepare a baking sheet by spraying one with non-stick cooking spray.

Broth/Gelatin Mixture:

  • In a separate bowl, add 1/2 cup of broth and then sprinkle 1 packet of gelatin powder over and mix. Let set for 5-10 minutes until gelatin is set. 
  • Once gelatin is set place onto a cutting board and mince.

Meatball Mixture:

  • In a bowl, add ground beef, breadcrumbs, broth chunks and spice blend (if desired) then, mix until combined. 
  • Using clean hands, shape and place meatballs about 1 inch apart onto a baking sheet. 

Baking Time:

  • Bake meatballs at 400° for 15-20 minutes or until browned and cooked through.

or Cook Time:

  • Add meatballs to a hot pan, oiled down with cooking oil or non-stick cooking spray.
  • Cook meatballs on each side until browned/cooked thoroughly.

Tips: If you want your meatballs to be finished in sauce- simply bake for 10-15 minutes or until lightly browned and then add to sauce to finish!
