These meatballs are an absolute family favorite! They're packed with flavor, incredibly juicy, and so easy to make. Mrs. Katz's secret? Using seasoned breadcrumbs for an extra boost of deliciousness.

  1. Mix the meatball base: In a large bowl, combine ground beef and eggs. Add Katz Seasoned Breadcrumbs and slowly stir in the lukewarm water, ½ cup at a time. Keep adding water until the mixture is moist enough to form meatballs that hold their shape.

  2. Brown the meatballs: Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Working in batches, carefully add the meatballs to the hot oil. Cook until browned on all sides.

  3. Bake and Finish: Preheat your oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper. Transfer the browned meatballs to the prepared sheet and bake for 10-20 minutes, or until the internal temperature reaches 160 degrees F.

Tips:

  • Don't overmix! Overmixing makes tough meatballs. Mix just until the ingredients are combined.
  • Make ahead: Prepare these meatballs ahead of time and freeze them. To use, thaw overnight in the refrigerator and finish baking as directed.
